MU Legacy Society

Generosity is one of Mizzou’s oldest traditions. In 1839, 904 Boone County residents pledged their dollars and land to secure a home for the University of Missouri, and we honor their gifts to this day.

The MU Legacy Society honors those who, like our original founding donors, wish to ensure a bright future for MU and its students. Donors who establish a planned gift of any amount qualify for MU Legacy Society membership and are recognized annually at a campus event.
